Pierer Innovation Challenge
As part of the PIERER Mobility Group, which is the leading European manufacturer of powered two-wheelers, and home to a broad selection of premium brands, including performance motorcycle brands such as KTM, Husqvarna Motorcycles and GASGAS, the purpose of PIERER Innovation GmbH is to assist in the acceleration of the digital transformation of all its sister companies along various thematic streams. In order to streamline the quality process along different manufacturing steps Pierer Innovation is looking for solutions that can enable an automated quality inspection and tracing of parts, fixtures, sub-assemblies and complete motorcycles/engines.

Prima Additive Challenge
Prima Additive is a division of the Prima Industrie Group, whose investment in additive manufacturing is such that they have created a dedicated Application Center, their Advanced Laser Center in Turin, where they can work closely with their customers and guide them along the entire process of adopting additive manufacturing in their company. Prima Additive has launched an industrial challenge for the development of an AI-Based Data Analytics tool to optimize process parameters and support a preventive maintenance approach. The focus of the challenge is on systems that use a laser process and Additive Manufacturing technology to 3D print metal components.
Mechanische Fertigung Radeberg Challenge
MF Radeberg has over 25 years of experience in production of sheet metal housing and sheet metal components for industry.
MF Radeberg is looking for solutions that can enable the manufacturing and office-based order management processes in order to increase reaction speed, transparency, and to enable a faster problem solving. By enabling multi-medial worker guidance, the consequences of workforce shortages shall be mitigated, and this will result in higher competitiveness and growth opportunities.
Universal Robots Challenge

Universal Robots industrial challenge is about physical and logical connectivity of a cobot and a CNC machine. A large share of cobot automation applications is machine tending applications. Buying a cobot is just the first step in automating the operation of a CNC machine. It also requires connecting the entire system – a cobot, a CNC machine, PLC, and other peripherals. The solution would simplify the existing process of setting up an automation workcell.
